Congrats to Tyler!

Just a quick post to congratulate Tyler.  Last night was his wrestling banquet.  (Which being translated means 2.5 hours of torture.  We all hate it- including Tyler)  However, we were pleasantly surprised last night when Tyler's coach presented him with a certificate from Washington Sate Wrestling Coaches Assoc. / WIAA.  He received the Honorable Mention award for academics.  Out of all of the 4A, 119# wrestlers in the State, who participated in the State tourney at the T-Dome, Tyler had the 2nd highest GPA.  So- although it was a disappointing ending to his wrestling season athletically, the silver lining is that he did well academically.  The top kid had a 4.0. Ty's is a little under that, but imagine- #2 in the State!  We're pretty happy for him, and glad he takes his schooling seriously.  Go Tyler!!
